How to Control eBay Ads and Set 3rd Party Ad Server

Bitvertiser have been receiving requests from their active publishers to have more control over their BidVertiser ads.

As a result, they have recently updated and added two new features on their BidVertiser ads:

1. Display eBay Ads (yes/no) - By choosing "no", you can now limit your ads to only show text ads. By default, eBay Ads are set to display on all sites.

2. 3rd Party Ad Server / URL Forwarding - Allows you to serve your BidVertiser ads from a different domain name from the one registered in your account; Very useful when either serving the BidVertiser ads from a 3rd party ad server or from a URL forwarding service (commonly used in blogs or in a framed website).

To access these features, simply click "Preferences" from your Publisher Control Panel.

NuffNang Introduces the Glitterati Exclusive

Nuffnang introduces the exclusive membership for its current members as an initiative to increase the level of loyalti program. As of now, members who have created blogs & websites which only display nuffnang ads will be automatically registered as GLITTERATI.

No applications or filling up forms are required as the current members will automatically be included as a Nuffnang Glitterati as long as they do NOT have any ads from any other ad network that originates from South East Asia. Add the BidVertiser Feed to your Blogger Feed Footer

Blogger allows you to add 3rd party elements to the end of each of your post feed. Simply follow these simple steps to add the BidVertiser Ads to your post feed.

1.Login to your Blogger account.
2.Click Settings -> Site Feed.
3.Copy your BidVertiser Feed Code to the Post Feed Footer area.
4.You must also set Enable Post Pages to Yes (in Archiving settings) and set Allow Blog Feeds to Full.
5.Click Save Settings.

ComScore announced December data this week, which ranks AdBrite among the top four ad networks by page-views.

AdBrite is in some pretty good company at the top - only Yahoo, Google, and AOL’s Advertising.com served more impressions in December.

WidgetBucks Creates Customer Council

WidgetBucks has formed the Widgetbucks Customer Council (WBCC) as a results of billion ad impressions in their first 83 days. They have chosen few 15 customers(handpick) that are serving as a sounding-board for new developments. Thge group will preview upcoming features, requests to test new widgets and be asked to provide their feedback.

Another upcoming example is pre-roll advertising within their ad widgets. With pre-roll, a branded ad appears momentarily before the shopping widget, giving advertisers the ability to market within specific product categories, such as electronics, video games and computers.

Bitvertiser Ads For Feed

Bitvertiser have now launched 3 unique solutions:

1. WordPress Plugin to allow you to seamlessly embed the BidVertiser Ads in your feeds. You can download the plugin from your publisher account.

Google Adsense - Refferal Programs Void

If you are in North America, Latin America, or Japan, the price for AdSense referrals is changing. Google has changed the pricing structure for AdSense referrals so that when a user you referred to the program earned $5 within 180 days of sign-up, you would also earn $5. When that publisher earned $100 within 180 days and removed all payment holds, you'd receive $250. Now there is no more result like that and soon no longer be offering the $5 bonus or $2000 bonus, and the payout for referring a user who generates $100 with AdSense in the first 180 days will return to $100.

These pricing changes will take place during the last week of January. A referred user who reaches $100 within 180 days of signing up and who removes all payments holds before the change occurs will generate earnings of $250 for the referring publisher. Any referred user who meets this conversion criteria after the change occurs will only generate $100 in earnings for the referring publisher. In addition, the $5 bonus will be removed at that time. Please note that the date a user was referred will only affect where the 180-day window is set but not necessarily the payout the referring publisher receives. For example, it's possible that a user referred in early January will meet the conversion criteria before a user referred in early November, and so the resulting payout may differ.

If you are outside the about mentioned location, Google Refferal Programs will retired. They found that this referral product has not performed as well as they had hoped in these regions. Again, please keep in mind that you can still generate referrals for the other products listed under the 'Referrals' section of your AdSense Setup tab.

Soon, you'll no longer see the option to create a referral button for AdSense in your account, although existing buttons will display as normal. This specific referral type will then be retired during the last week of January - any users who meet the conversion criteria (reaching $100 in earnings within 180 days of sign-up and removing all payment holds) before the change will generate earnings of $250 for the referring publishers. Any conversions which occur after this change is made will not be recorded in your account. You may wish to begin replacing any existing referrals promoting AdSense with referrals for another product or an AdSense for content unit.
